Waterlines
On the last day of 2022, as yet another pandemic year ended and a new one began, I took a walk in the park near my home and reflected on the state of the world. Hunter S. Thompson famously said “Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top.” I wonder what the new year will bring.
